NOTE:  This article is applicable to employees (and dependents) who are enrolled in the HMSA Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), Comprehensive Medical (CompMED), Health Plan Hawaii Basic and Health Plan Hawaii-Plus plans.

HMSA periodically reviews their health plans and updates them as needed to ensure quality health benefits, as well as, compliance with federal and state mandates.  These updates are outlined in the attached Summary of Changes documents provided below and are effective January 1, 2010. 

Please note that these changes not only apply to RCUH’s HMSA members, but ALL HMSA members (community-wide).  These changes are also available on HMSA’s website at www.hmsa.com.
