Faculty, staff, and administrators in the research community are invited to attend a briefing on Compliance, Governance & Security as it relates to research. This webinar is an informational briefing for principal investigators, researchers, administrators and support staff and will provide information on: undue foreign influence, conflicts of interest and conflicts of commitment, recently implemented DOD regulations (e.g. NIST 800-171 Self Assessment), and a walk through of the UH data governance process for research.
Special guest speaker Shawn Case, Counterintelligence Special Agent at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), will join the panel to offer insights from the federal government’s lens.
