Upon termination of health benefits, employees and their dependents should receive a Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) Notice/Election form which allows them to continue their health plan(s) on an individual basis for a specified period of time. During Benefits Open Enrollment, new plan rates will be provided and individuals will have an opportunity to make changes to their enrollment (i.e., change in plan or coverage tier).
FOR EMPLOYEES CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COBRA:
During this time, you will be able to review your current health coverage and make changes to best suit the needs of you and your family. Our Open Enrollment election period is June 6 – June 17, 2024. All changes will be effective July 1, 2024.
Enrollment forms and supporting documents (if any) must be mailed to the RCUH Human Resources and postmarked by June 17, 2024. If you are satisfied with your current plan and do not want to make any changes, no action is needed on your part.
