2024 RCUH Financial Portal Refresh – Announcement 1 – General Information

We are pleased to announce that the RCUH Financial Portal will undergo a system upgrade on Monday, July 15, 2024. This upgrade reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing research, development, and training in Hawai’i. The new system is designed to offer a more efficient and user-friendly experience as well as improved systems security.

Website Address

On Friday, July 12, 4:00 p.m. HST, users will no longer be able to log in to the current RCUH Financial Portal with the website address https://fis.rcuh.com. On Monday, July 15, users will be able to access the new website https://lms.fis.rcuh.com. Please update your Bookmarks or Favorites in your web browser.

User Logins

All authorized users will retain their current usernames. However, users will be required to reset their passwords during their initial login. To reset your password, please select “Forgot Password” on the login page. A password reset email will be sent to the email address associated with your user account.

Impact on Pending Documents

ALL pending documents will be seamlessly migrated to the new Financial Portal. The migration process will commence on Friday, July 12, at 4:00 p.m. HST.  This includes documents with status of Pending PI Submittal, Pending FA Approval, Pending Additional Info Requested, Pending RCUH Approval, and Disapproved.

Training

The refreshed Financial Portal’s appearance and functionality will remain identical to the current system. The overall layout and locations for entering information on the forms will be consistent, ensuring a smooth transition with a minimal learning curve. There will be very few changes to the workflows or business processes that Financial Portal users are familiar with. RCUH will provide training and communications to highlight the new features and functionality. Additional details on training will be provided in separate announcements.
