The Wage and Tax Statement (W-2) forms for the 2013 tax year have been completed.

 

 

 

Employees who submitted consent for an electronic W-2:

 

 

 

Your 2013 W-2 form is now available on the RCUH Employee Self-Service system at www.rcuh.com:

 

 

 

Employee Self Service > User ID and password > Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > View W-2/W-2c Forms

 

 

 

If you are having difficulties opening your .pdf W-2 form, please make sure that the pop-up blocker on your browser allows our website “https://hrweb.rcuh.com.”

 

 

 

For employees who did NOT consent for an electronic W-2:

 

 

 

A paper W-2 form will be mailed to your current mailing address on record on Friday, January 24, 2014.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – Electronic W-2 Forms Deadline: Monday, January 20, 2014

TO:      RCUH Employees Who Have Not Yet Consented to Receive Electronic W-2 Forms

 

This is a final reminder that the deadline to consent for Electronic W-2 Form is Monday, January 20, 2014.

 

Electronic W-2:  The RCUH provides our employees with an electronic W-2 form for your 2013 tax filing on the RCUH Employee Self-Service (ESS) system.  RCUH’s ESS/Electronic W-2 application provides you with a secure and convenient way to receive your 2013 Wage and Tax Statement.

 

Interested in receiving an Electronic W-2?  Follow these instructions: 

If you have already submitted your consent in previous years, you do not need to submit again.  If you do not consent by January 20, 2014, or have withdrawn your consent, a paper W-2 form will be mailed to your mailing address on record

 

1)    Provide consent on the RCUH Employee Self-Service (ESS) system:

(a)  Click, or control-click on the link https://LinktoConsent      OR

(b)  Access the RCUH ESS system at www.rcuh.com  and click on the Employee Self-Service link  > Payroll and Compensation > W-2/W-2c Consent Form

 

2)    Confirmation of your consent or withdrawal of consent will be sent to your primary email address on record.

3)    We will notify you by email when your electronic W-2 form is available (currently scheduled for Friday, January 24, 2014).

The payroll deadline for the 1/01/14 – 1/15/14 pay period is 12:00 noon on WEDNESDAY,  JANUARY 15, 2014.   The deadline has been moved up one day due to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day holiday.

RCUH Leave Training- Family Leave Training and All Other RCUH Leaves

RCUH will provide training on all RCUH leaves. The training will focus primarily on Family Leave changes effective January 1, 2014. This training will include the Hawaii Family Leave Law (HFLL) and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for all employees and supervisors. We will also discuss all other RCUH leave policies. This will be a three-hour session (first 1.5 hours for employees and supervisors, second 1.5 hours for supervisors only).

RCUH Policy Changes – Effective January 1, 2014

Effective January 1, 2014, we have implemented the following significant changes to our policies:

 

Current

New (effective 1/1/2014)

Six (6) month new hire/job probationary period

Twelve (12) month new hire/job probationary period (no extensions will be allowed)

Three (3) month benefits probationary period

Removal of three (3) month benefits probation period

Vacation/Sick Leave cannot be used until employee passes three (3) month benefit probationary period

Vacation/Sick Leave is available to employee on the first day of the pay period after accrual

Group Insurances (Life, Long Term Care and Long Term Disability Insurances) start after employee passes three (3) month benefit probation period

Group Insurances (Life, Long Term Care and Long Term Disability Insurances) to start on the first day of the following month from date of hire (this will affect the fringe benefit rate for all eligible employees)

Ø  Requirement for Job Physical Analysis upon return to work for an employee own Serious Health Condition 

 

Please refer to the individual policies for specific information and changes. All policies have been updated and have taken effect on January 1, 2014. We have revised the RCUH Job Description Template.  Effective immediately, please use the revised Job Description Template when creating all New Job Descriptions, as well as for any Updates and Reclassifications for your employee(s).  The changes made to the template are as follows: 

  • Primary Qualifications: Changed “Education” to “Education/Training”
  • Primary Qualifications: Added “Policy and/or Regulatory Requirements”

We have revised RCUH Policy 3.234 RCUH Recruitment Policy (Regular Hires) to reflect this revised job description template.
