Check back soon for updates and toolkits to better EQUIP YOURSELF for our upcoming RCUH annual Benefit Open Enrollment!
This year’s annual Benefit Open Enrollment election period will be April 23 – May 16, 2025.
OE elections will be effective July 1, 2025.
For Plan Year: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.
Why is Open Enrollment Important to Me?
During the RCUH annual Benefits Open Enrollment (OE) election period, we will be accepting health plan changes and new enrollments! Eligible employees may elect, waive, or make changes to certain benefit elections for the upcoming plan year. Mid-year enrollments and changes to health insurance (medical and dental) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for healthcare and dependent care accounts are not allowable, unless you experience a qualifying life event or family status change event.
Who Does Open Enrollment Apply To?
All active RCUH benefits-eligible employees (i.e., Regular Status – including relief and non-regulars, who are 50% FTE or more).
Please note: The EUTF Open Enrollment and Island Flex forms are not applicable to RCUH employees.
How You Can Prepare for Open Enrollment
- Check Your Current Benefit Elections by logging into your RCUH Employee Self-Service > under Employee Information click on Employee Benefits. (If you need assistance with 2FA or password reset, please contact hrhelpdesk@rcuh.com or call (808) 956-8900.)
- Gather Dependent Information: If you plan to add eligible dependents to your health insurance, start gathering the required documents to show proof of the relationship.

Consult your tax advisor to see how this affects your taxes and determine if this option is beneficial for you and your family. Elections are a total commitment for the entire plan year and any remaining, unused funds will be forfeited at the end of the plan year (June 30). Re-enrollments are not automatic. If you wish to re-enroll in the new plan year, you must submit your OE Form. FSA 101 Workshops will be announced at a later date.
